Griffins looking for goals in tight games as girls soccer season heats up

Eden edges SGI boys in OT, 1-0, for Griffs’ first loss

Trevor Masocco scored in the 85th minute to lift Eden to an overtime victory over the Springville boys soccer team on Tuesday in Eden, handing the Griffins their first loss of the season. SPRINGVILLE — On Homecoming night for the Springville-Griffith Institute varsity football team, Lackawanna scored a fourth-quarter touchdown and held on to beat the Griffins, 13-8, on Friday, Sept. 20. Pop Warner Hall of Fame inductees announced

  The Springville Athletic Scholarship Committee has announced the three inductees into the 2019 Pop Warner Hall of Fame. They are Judy (Schunk) Langworthy, Kyle Bicknell and Coach Jim Rindfuss. Judy (Schunk) Langworthy graduated from Springville-Griffith Institute in 1985. She was a four-sport athlete, participating in tennis, volleyball, basketball and softball.
