SGI boys swimmers start the year 2-0

  DEPEW — On Tuesday, Dec. 4, the Springville-Griffith Institute varsity boys swimming and diving team traveled to Depew looking to build its record to 2-0. Springville’s Sonya Krezmien came home with a fourth-place patch at the Section 6 cross country state qualifier, finishing fourth of 116 girls running in Class C on Friday. Springville-Griffith Institute only brought two runners to the Clarence Fall Classic cross country meet, but both finished in the top 18 out of a field of 150 large and small-school competitors.
