The Springville-Griffith Institute boys swimming and diving team earned a victory over St. Francis (Buffalo), 59-41, on Thursday, Jan. 16. Zach Hughey and Eric Schweickert won two individual events each to lead the Griffins. The Springville-Griffith Institute varsity girls basketball team made it two league wins in a row Tuesday night by defeating Pioneer, 73-18. Mackenzie Owens led the Griffins’ offense with 22 points.
