Excited for the potlucks, swimming, sparklers and of course, the annual fireworks show? This year, Springville’s festivities will be held at the community park on July 4th at 5 p.m., kicking off with a performance from Gene Hilts & The Rustic Ramblers, with fireworks to follow.

Around here, you’re not limited to one night of fireworks. Here are a few other local celebrations:

Ellicottville Rodeo

Thursday, June 29 – Saturday, July 1

Yeeehaw!!  An honest-to-goodness rodeo at the home of the Nightmare Hayrides on Sommerville Street, complete with bronco bustin’, bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing and stick horse racing for the kids. Each evening show will feature fireworks following the rodeo. Evening shows take place at 7 p.m., with gates opening at 5 p.m.

Ellicottville Summer

Music Festival

July 1

The BPO performs on the slopes of Holiday Valley, with music set to an impressive fireworks display.

The Woods at Bear Creek

July 1

Head out to The Woods at Bear Creek for a whole day of fun then watch fireworks after dusk!  A $10 day pass gets you access to the 1200’ foot zipline, hiking trails, 20 acre lake and inground pool.  If you have never seen the gorgeous grounds of The Woods at Bear Creek, this is your chance.

Declaration Celebration

July 1-4th

Visit the park from July 1-4  for fireworks each night, live music, hot dog eating contests, and a flag-raising ceremony, and enjoy more than 35 rides and slides at the amusement and water parks. Veterans, active military, and first responders will receive half priced admission with valid ID at the gate.

Old Falls Street, Niagara Falls Independence Day Block Party

July 1-2

Join Old Falls Street for live music and food vendors on the park block. Saturday’s musicians will include: Scott Celani Duo, Joe Marohn, and Sara Elizabeth. Sunday’s musicians will include Tim Britt, Bryan Berhalter, and Steve Balesteri Duo.

Seneca Niagara Casino

Red, White and Boom

July 2 @ 9:40 p.m.

Join the casino for a must-see fireworks display including dazzling displays of bright colors, guaranteed to light up the night sky. The fireworks begin 9:40 pm. This event is free for the public. The rain date is July 3.

Allegany State Park

Independence Day Celebration

Monday, July 3, 4 p.m.

Grab your lawn chairs and head to the Allegany State Park Quaker Beach area to celebrate our nation’s independence! The fun starts at 4 p.m. on July 3rd with a chicken barbecue (until sold out) by the Coldspring Volunteer Fire Department. Capping off this fun-filled night will be a spectacular fireworks display over the waters of Quaker Lake! This year, patrons should plan on adjusting their viewing plans as the launch site has been relocated to a field just off ASP 3 at the midpoint of the lake between the Quaker toll booth and the intersection of ASP 3 and Cain Hollow.


Independence Day Celebration

July 3

Fun for all with a parade, entertainment, food (pulled pork, hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, pizza, pie slices, cookies, drinks & ice cream), and of course, fireworks at 10 p.m. For a full schedule of events visit

Independence Eve Celebration

July 3

The 23rd Annual KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration will feature the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus and the park’s largest fireworks show of the season as the Bisons host the Syracuse Chiefs. The game begins at 6:05 p.m. Visit for more information at tickets.


Fourth of July Celebration

July 4

Don your red, white and blue, and visit canalside for the 2017 July 4th Celebration on the Waterfront supported by Premiere Partner, KeyBank!

Highlights will include food & beverage, live music (2 p.m. – 9 p.m), and free children’s activities (2 p.m. – 6 p.m.). Capping off the evening (starting at 10 p.m.) will be a breathtaking fireworks display presented for the 3rd year in a row by Russell J. Salvatore. Be sure to tune to Mix 96 for Patriotic music synced to the display!


July 4

Elma’s Fourth of July Fireworks display is at dusk on July 4th at the Boys & Girls Club on Girdle Road.  Parking available at the Iroquois School lots.

Niagara Falls

State Park Fireworks

July 4

Shows begin at 10 p.m., so grab your chair or blanket and head for Niagara Falls State Park – then sit back and enjoy the show!
