Bertrand Chaffee Hospital is announcing to its employees, patients and the general community that it will begin paving a portion of its parking lot on Wednesday, Sept. 5. The Main Street entrance and exit, main driveway, and patient parking will be affected over a period of days. This project has been in the works for several years, with donations from the community and the Bertrand Chaffee Hospital Foundation providing much of the funding for this portion of the reconstruction.

For the duration of the paving project, the valet service will be free for all patients and visitors, and extra valet personnel will be available. Valet service is always free for individuals with temporary or permanent handicapped parking placards. A golf-cart shuttle will also be available during weekday business hours. Patients and visitors should plan for a few extra minutes to park their vehicle and make it into their appointments. Please consider using the Mayerat Drive entrance to the hospital and nursing home campus from Newman St.
