Make branch sculptures at Griffis Sculpture Park.

This summer, Griffis Sculpture Park will host free outdoor activities every Saturday at noon, and this weekend, guests can enjoy creating unique branch sculptures. Afterwards, park goers can also take in the 250 sculptures that reside throughout the trails of the park, making it the United States largest outdoor sculpture park.

Buffalo Irish Festival Aug. 24-26

Experience Irish culture Buffalo style at this 37th annual ethnic heritage festival, held on Buffalo’s beautiful Outer Harbor. Three days of Irish food, drink, music and dance. 20+ vendors of Irish goods, crafts, and wearables, as well as booksellers and author signings. Direct from the beaches of California, Papa Doo Run Run has been performing and recording continuously since 1965 – and now they’re coming this August to Seneca Allegany for an unforgettable show on the outdoor stage. Don’t miss this award-winning re-creation of the Beach Boys – the sights, the unique sounds of the California sun and surf. Not just an average tribute band, the members of Papa Doo Run Run were there at the beginning playing with the legendary Jan & Dean and of course, the Beach Boys. Wild Wing Festival to benefit Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary

Gooseneck Hill Waterfowl Sanctuary, the largest covered waterfowl Sanctuary in the world is having The Wild Wing Festival on Sunday, Aug. 26 from 12-5 at the Sanctuary at 5067 Townline Rd. in Delavan. The 10’ tall rubber duck will make another appearance at Gooseneck Hill for lots of photo opps.  The Rustic Ramblers with Gene Hilts on steel guitar will be playing. Colden Mill will be serving ribs, pulled pork, Sahlen’s hot dogs, BBQ chicken and more.Guided bird tours will be given throughout the day and are $2 for each tour, and admission is only $5.
