Letter to the Editor: A successful Springville Oktoberfest

Dear Editor,

On behalf of the Springville Area of Chamber of Commerce, we extend our thanks to all those who came to our 14th Annual Springville Oktoberfest.
As the festival-goers know, this year’s festival featured German, cuisine, beer and music, as well as popular midway food and music. With our vendors and children’s activities, there was a good time had by all.
Also, we extend thanks to the 63 local businesses that donated to and sponsored our event. This Oktoberfest was a celebration of the diverse and robust businesses of the Springville area including retail, restaurant, food, medical, financial, automotive, tourism, recreational and residential services, as well as the local construction, manufacturing, agribusiness and mining industries. These sponsors and their demonstrations made this a festival that celebrated our local economy.
Finally, we wish to thank all the volunteers who helped with the event. We had a great team of Chamber members and partners who worked steadfastly for months and tirelessly the week of the event to host this fall community festival.
The success of this festival is measured in a revitalized interest in our business community which the Chamber of Commerce serves and promotes.
Thanks again to all those who helped make the festival a success.
