Four young writers from the Collins area had their own short stories published this summer through a program at the Collins Public Library. Another session begins in November.

Between May and August, the Collins Public Library had an awesome group of teens each write and edit a short story that the library published.

Each author received a copy of the finished product, donated by Quality Bindery Services, and a couple gave readings from their stories that definitely made us want more.

Want to read what our amazing young local authors have written? The library has signed copies for our patrons to check out. And if you see these creative kids, tell them congratulations!

Have a young adult who might be interested? The next session of YA Writing Club starts in November. Call 532-5129 or stop in to sign up.

The library wants to thank all of the kids who committed to writing, the adults who brought them in and, of course, the amazing staff at Quality Bindery Services who created the books, and brought our staff in to show how it all came together.
