On Friday, Aug. 23, the Trading Post of Springville blessed children in the community with school supplies and snack bags that were donated by volunteers, clientele, the VFW and Save-A-Lot.
Bob Bieber delivered a generous donation on behalf of the VFW Post 5260. Peggy Austin, director of the Trading Post, was tear-filled over their generosity, saying “they recently gave us a check for $500 and it melts my heart how they continue to give back to the community.”
Kelsey Horrigan from Save-A-Lot in Yorkshire donated bags of breakfast and lunch groceries that were purchased by customers and donated to the Trading Post.
“My heart is filled with the love and support that is given to us for the people in our communities,” Austin said. Save-A-Lot also donates bags of food during the Holidays. “God loves a cheerful giver.”
