To welcome back these warmer days, Green Springville is hosting its second annual Earth Day Celebration April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Heritage Park in Springville.

A variety of family-friendly activities are planned including a planting station, science experiments, a chalk mural and more.

Everyone is invited to enjoy light refreshments while listening to live music. Musical acts include Nick Kody and Lydia Herren.

In the event of rain, the Earth Day Celebration will be held at UNOVA Coworking, 29 Mechanic St.

Bike to Heritage Park to get your wheels ready for the road with the Hulbert Library’s Spring Bike Tune-up. Gerald Krezmien will share skills such as how to how to fix a flat tire and general bike maintenance.

“Partnering with the library for this year’s Earth Day Celebration happened organically,” said Reed Braman, Green Springville President. “We welcome future partnerships with organizations throughout the greater Springville area.”
