Springville boys top Eden, improve to 8-8 (7-3 league)

The Springville-Griffith Institute varsity boys basketball climbed its way back to a .500 overall record with its latest triumph in ECIC Div. IV league play Tuesday night.

The Griffins defeated Eden, 74-55, improving to 7-3 in the league and 8-8 overall. Springville has now won six out of seven games after starting the season 2-7.

Mason Goodridge paced Springville with 28 points, while Adam Pruitt added 22. Austin Boies and Alex Fransisco had 10 points each.

Brandon Hallick led Eden (0-12) with 16 points.

Springville was set to start a busy week, playing host again Wednesday against Holland and visiting Alden on Friday.
