The Springville Boys Swimming and Diving team faced off against Cheektowaga on Friday, Jan. 4. Looking to start the new year off with a solid win after winning the division title at the end of last year, the boys did just that.

Winning 11 out of 12 events, and earning a score of 71-31, the Griffins took their overall record to 7-1 on the season. Leading the way for the Griffins were Jon Boberg and Zach Hughey, who each had two individual wins and contributed to two relay wins. Also putting up individual victories were Eric Schweickert, Wyatt Fuller, Austin Yetter and Garrett Casey.
