The Springville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Small Business Summit with New York State Senator Patrick M. Gallivan on Thursday, May 3 at the Springville Country Club.
Senator Gallivan represents the 59th District in the New York State Senate which covers parts of Erie, Wyoming, Livingston and Monroe Counties and serves on the Senate’s Commerce, Economic Development and Small Business Committee.
The Senator gave an overview of the last year and spoke to the challenges that small businesses face when getting started in New York State.
Frank Swiatek was the keynote speaker at the breakfast and delivered a presentation on “Increasing Your Sales in 2018 Through Six Sigma Thinking.”
Mr. Swiatek is a highly sought out speaker, coach, and consultant in the areas of leadership, management, sales. In addition to running his own business, Frank Swiatek & Associates, he also serves as the Executive-in-Residence at the Canisius Center for Professional Development and has worked for over 25 Fortune 500 companies.
Business members in the community were able to network with both speakers after the meeting which was held free of charge to the public.
