Swing Dance for a Good Cause Feb. 10

It’s time to break out the old zoot suit and dust off your dancing shoes for the annual Valentine’s Day Swing Dance at the Family Life Center at the First United Methodist Church at 474 E. Main St. in Springville on Saturday, Feb. 10.

Live music by the Springville Jazz Orchestra will begin at 7 p.m. The 40s-themed dance will also feature a chocolate dessert buffet.

The SJO will present music by 1940s iconic musicians and bandleaders Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey and Billie Holliday and feature solo performances by our local celebrity crooners.

Admission is $15 per person. In addition to live music and entertainment, chocolate desserts, coffee, and punch will be served.  All proceeds will benefit Aftershock Youth Ministry at First United Methodist Church and Love INC of Springville.

Tickets are available at Love INC, First United Methodist Church, Springville Hardware and Homewear, and will be available at the door. For more information, call Love INC at 592-3761.
