Are you a comedian or enjoy improvisation and you are looking for some stage time? Did you learn or write a new song you would like to perform? Come to Hooch’s Open Mic Night at Springville Center for the Arts, open to singers, poets, performers, entertainers and beyond.
Mark “Hooch” Woodring, a local comedian, was involved in an improvisation group at SUNY Fredonia. He died suddenly of a heart attack at a young age. Hooch’s Open Mic Night is a tribute to him from his family.
This event will take place at the Carol Mongerson Theater, 37 North Buffalo Street, Springville on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door. This open mic night is open to all ages and skill levels. For more information and to reserve a spot, call the Arts Center at (716) 592-9038 or email Liz at firstname.lastname@example.org.
