Our 50/50 Golf Ball Drop will be back again this year. Take a chance— you might win big!
The award ceremony, taking place at 8:15 p.m. on the main stage, is where Milky Award recipients will be acknowledged, the Coil-town Cup Trophy will be awarded, and the winners of the Basket Raffle and Silent Auction will be announced. This year’s Milky Award recipients are Gerry Hashagen, Karyn Hanrahan, and our Thursday Morning Crew: Bill McGirr, Rich Myers, Jim Palys, Mark Stevens, Brian Schuster and Billy Huggins.
The Fredtown Stompers will hit the main stage at 8:30 p.m., after the award ceremony. Their Dixieland/Hot Jazz feel will sure get your feet moving. This lively group that plays old school jazz charts from the 1910-1930s, old classics, and nontraditional modern staples, were the winners of JazzBuffalo’s 2016 Best Performance (at the Lewiston Jazz Fest). We also have La Marimba and Ragweed playing during the beginning of the event. La Marimba, featuring Tiffany Nicely, Gabriel Gutierrez, and Jamie Sunshine, is an original take on traditional music from Mexico and Central America… sweet tunes and dancing grooves mingle with inspired improvisation. Come hear why the marimba is known as “the wood that sings!” Ragweed, will bring you sounds from a hammer dulcimer, double bass, and mandolin. This local trio will bring you folk songs with a bluegrass feel.
The Gala and Mini-Golf Tournament will be taking place at Springville Center for the Arts located at 37 N Buffalo Street, Springville, NY. The event starts at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 10.
