Springville Center for the Arts seeks artwork submissions for the juried Annual Downtown Springville Art Crawl. The deadline is April 15 to submit artwork.
Performers, installation artists and those interested in selling fine craftwork may also apply. The jury this year includes Zack Boehler, Vanessa Frost and Tina Hastings.
The Art Crawl places artwork in small businesses along Springville’s East Main
Historic District. Small groups of musicians play inside and out. Kid sites,
interactive activities and fine craft sales round out the event. Visitors receive a map and stroll from location to location as all of Main Street becomes an art gallery for one night. This year the Art Crawl takes place Saturday, May 6 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. It is a free event.
To submit, artists are asked to email images of their submissions and an entry form to SCAArtSubmissions@gmail.com. Five pieces of any medium may be accepted. There is no restriction on size or age. If accepted by the jury, artists will be notified and work must be delivered ready to display by April 29. A submission form and details are available at Crawl.SpringvilleArts.org.
