Are you looking for a guaranteed fun way to ring in 2017? Don’t miss Kissing Bridge’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration on the slopes and in the lodge.

On Dec. 31, head to KB’s Central area for a family-friendly party.

“Family Zone in the central cafeteria is alcohol free, cafeteria remains open for snacks and drinks, and noise makers and goodies will be handed out,” explained Rachel Fanelli of KB. “Willies Smokehouse is another Family zone but with full service menu and bar.”

Harvest Room is taking reservations now with a special New Year’s dinner menu. Reservations can be made by calling (716) 592-4963 ext. 2246. Check out the menu online at www.kbski.com.

Those looking to trade in their ski boots for dancing shoes can head to the Lake Effect Saloon, where they will have a full bar, dancing, and music by DJ Chris Williams, a.k.a RoboRoc. This party goes from 9 p.m.-1 a.m.

At 10 p.m, see the mountain light up during the torchlight parade. The torch light parade is for all ages,, and skiers and snowboarders of intermediate levels are allowed to take part. Sign up is in the Central Ticket Center beginning at 4 p.m., 18 and under must have a parent signature.

“This parade  begins promptly at 10 p.m. and takes place on our Holly slope,” said Fanelli. “Basically people ski down Holly with torches in a formation led by our ski patrol. We shut off all the lights on the hill and it looks really amazing.” There is no cost for particpating in or watching the parade.

Follow that up with a spectacular fireworks display. “The $4,000 fireworks show will begin as soon as the  torchlight parade is finished at around 10:30/10:45, Fanelli noted. “The fireworks can be watched directly at the base of Holly.”

A night of snowsports, family time, music, food and fun awaits at KB! What better way to welcome 2017 than here, with friends old and new?

“Even if you are not a skier, KB is the perfect place to ring in the new year!” Fanelli said.
