The girls varsity tennis team is returning six seniors this year, including four starters from last season.  Thus far the team is being led by senior, Kaylee Timmel, and seventh grader, Lily Vanuga.  Seniors Jamie Slotman, Lexi Tyger, and Jessica Slotman are all competing for singles positions with Junior Kamryn Keys.  There’s some intense competition for the remaining doubles spots between seniors Miranda Richert and Julianna Kraft and sophomores Caleigh Trzcinski and Heidi Bofinger.  The team welcomes newcomer eighth grader Abigail Ploetz.  The Lady Griffins kick off the season Sept. 6 when they visit Lake Shore.
