Art, music and nature collide this weekend at the annual Girffis Sculpture Park (GSP)Summer Festival. On Sunday, Aug. 21, plan for outdoor fun from noon to 7 p.m.
At the Summer Fest, GSP continues its tradition of great outdoor live music by featuring musical performances by some of the region’s best musicians, including headliner Funktional Flow, Sly Boots School of Music, Sonder and Kaleidoscope Sky.
The younger set can take part in children crafts and activities, that will include creating painted button trees and stick beaded wind chimes.
Guests will also enjoy tours of the park, artists creating works and much more.
Park goers can also take in the 250 sculptures that reside throughout the trails of the park, making it the largest outdoor sculpture park In the United States.
The events will take place on the top of the hill by the stage at the Mill Valley side of the park.
Guests can bring chairs and coolers, and there will also be BBQ available for purchase, along with a beer and wine garden.
