Brett Russell won the 3,200-meter run, leading Springville-Griffith Institute indoor track and field runners in the B-F Meet Saturday morning at Buffalo State College.
Russell won the 3,200 with a time of 10:37.10. Mason Field (long jump, 18-7.5) and Topher Elkins (300, :38.03) each had a second-place finish. Field was also 10th in the 55-meter (7.35).
Jared Hecht was fourth in the 1,600 (5:03.08), Charles DiGangi fifth in the 300 (:40.78) and Andrew Delasandro ninth in the 55 hurdles (9.54).
Payton Rowe’s pair of second-place finishes led the SGI girls team. Rowe was second in both the 600 (1:47.65) and 55 hurdles (9.56). Sonya Krezmien was second in the 1,500 (5:33.30).
Jaime Dickinson had a fourth-place run in the 600 (1:52.92) and 10th in the 1,500 (6:18.56).
Emily Schlemmer was fourth in the 300 (:48.24) and Sydney Wittmer seventh in the 55 (8.36).
A 1,600 relay team of Dickinson, Rowe, Evelyn Smith and Wittmer took fifth (4:53.04).
Schlemmer, Elyana Schosek, Smith and Sydney Wittmer were seventh in the 800 relay 2:11.10.
