Jennifer Weber writes a lot of local events and entertainment articles, and also covers Village and SGI board meetings for the Springville Times. Jen lives in the Town of Concord, a short drive from the Village of Springville, with her husband, Charles, their two rescue dogs, Jordan and Harley, four cats and lots of plants.

Jen, Who grew up in Sheridan, N.Y. (right off Route 39) went to Fredonia high school, attended Allegheny College, where she majored in political science, and UB Law School.

After getting married and living north of Buffalo, Jen ended up in Springville. “When we started our search for a forever home, we looked everywhere within a 45 minute drive to the city of Buffalo where we were both working at the time. We walked in the door at what we now affectionately refer to as Weber Wonderland located and the rest was history,” she says of her move down south.  “It was a perfect fit, the house, the land, the community and the commute. And the snow! I love, love, love the snow!”

Jen has been a blogger at All Things Jennifer for over 15 years, a hobby that has turned into a freelance consulting social media business.

She and her husband are active historical reenactors with Compagnie LeBoeuf and the Hoisington’s New York Company of Rangers, as well as volunteers at Old Fort Niagara and the Hull Family Homestead. On a local Springville level, Jen volunteers for the Bertrand Chaffee Hospital Foundation, Calico Club, Concord Historical Society, Springville Center for the Arts and the Springville-Griffith Community Education Foundation.

If that’s not enough, Jen also does volunteer work with Inclusive Theater of WNY, and is a real estate agent. You can also find both her and her husband in the upcoming performance of Annie at the SCA.

“I love that I’ve lived here less than five years and it feels like I’ve lived here all my life,” Jen says. “I’ve met and become friends with so many people that make this community a very special place to live, work and play, I feel truly blessed to be a part of such a vibrant, caring community.”
