Springville’s Emerling Ford has recently won the Ford Motor Company President’s Award for a 20th consecutive year. No other Ford dealership in New York State can make that claim, and only two other dealerships in the entire nation can match it.

The dealership received the award based on the excellent sales and service experience it provides to Ford customers. The winning score is based on customer feedback, submitted online or through surveys.

“I am proud and excited that the dealership received Ford’s President’s Award,” says Carl Emerling, President of Emerling Ford. “Everyone on the staff works diligently and more importantly, together as a team to deliver a superior customer experience. It is gratifying to know that our customers feel comfortable doing business at the dealership and their responses to Ford helped us earn this recognition. Everyone at Emerling Ford realizes how important it is to take care of the customer, and work toward that common goal.”

Emerling attributes this award to the 86-person staff . “Our employees care about our customers and we take care of our customers,” he said, adding that it’s not any one thing, but a general attitude of treating them well.

“We treat people fairly and follow up on commitments,” he noted. “It’s mainly personal attention.”

Emerling also attributes much of this accomplishment to General Manager John Woodruff. “John’s leadership has a lot to do with our success,” Emerling noted. “He makes sure everyone is taken care of.”

The President’s Award, combined with the high amount of repeat/referral business they do, is a nod to the dealership’s sales, service, collision and parts departments.
