The Collins Public Library is excited to announce the performers coming in 2019.
The season opens Friday, April 12 at 7 p.m. with Creek Bend’s classic bluegrass stylings.
A very special event on May 17 will feature Mark Munzert, an award-winning cowboy poet spinning tales of the West.
Paul Zittel and Pure Country will be performing June 14, and if the weather is good it will be held outside where there will be lots of room for dancing.
The PC All-Star Big Band will be outside for a July 12 concert and promises to play some old standards.
On Aug. 23, Doug Yeomans will be performing bluegrass and Americana music.
The Sept. 20 concert will feature crowd favorite, The Blue Mule Band, for some bluegrass and Americana, and will coincide with the Friends of the Library Book Sale, so make sure you don’t miss it!
The final concert of the year will be Oct. 4 for a country and western swing performance by The Skiffle Minstrels.
These concerts are sponsored by the Collins Public Library and the Friends of the Collins Public Library.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with all concerts starting at 7. Concerts are free and open to the public.
